Course-based MEd in HSE consists of 30 in graduate level coursework (★24 from required courses and ★6 from 500-level or higher elective courses), 3 in the EDPY 903 Capping Project and the completion of the GET (Graduate Ethics Training)

The program is designed as a blended delivery format. Blended delivery consists of a small number of face-to-face classes combined with synchronous and asynchronous online sessions. Each blended delivery course is of eight week duration. Two consecutive days of the course are face-to-face. The synchronous sessions occur at some point during the week highlighted in the course schedule. The course instructor(s) determine when the face-to-face and synchronous sessions occur. The June course is 5 days in a row strictly face-to-face.
